Japan's car manufacturing giant Toyota Motor said on September 17 that it will suspend production at 14 plants in the country for up to 11 days in October, according to the Jiji Press. The reason for the shutdown is a delay in the delivery of parts.
Toyota announced the preliminary arrangements for the shutdown earlier this month, according to which 27 of the 28 production lines at the 14 plants will stop running.
