From October 1, plug-in (including add-on) hybrid passenger vehicles have a pure electric range of not less than 43 kilometers in order to be exempt from vehicle purchase tax. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance and the General Administration of Taxation jointly issued a "Notice on Adjustment of Technical Requirements for New Energy Vehicle Products Exempted from Vehicle Purchase Tax" as early as May 13, which adjusted the range of new energy vehicle products exempted from vehicle purchase tax, and the pure electric range of plug-in (including add-on) hybrid passenger vehicles should meet the conditional equivalent full electric range adjusted to not less than 43 kilometers.
In addition, the Notice also emphasizes that new energy vehicle products exempted from vehicle purchase tax need to meet certain energy consumption standards, and gives a specific formula for calculation. Plug-in
