Recently, NIO told the outside world that due to the production line renovation and upgrade at JAC NIO's Hefei advanced manufacturing base, some vehicle orders planned for delivery in October will be delivered later than originally planned and the production schedule for October will be affected.
Users whose deliveries are affected by this production line adjustment will receive delayed delivery credits after picking up their vehicles. The specific plan is as follows. Routinely, if the order delivery cycle exceeds 2 months (counting from the order lock date), starting from the third month, the customer will receive a deferred delivery credit of 1,000/day until the vehicle is delivered. Under this special circumstance, if the vehicle is not delivered on schedule for customers who originally planned to deliver in September and October 2021, they will receive a one-time additional 2,888 points after picking up the vehicle, in addition to the above-mentioned delayed delivery points.
The production line has gradually resumed production in late October.
